Mission

Motivating Adolescents to Reach for Excellence (MARX Inc.) is a local 501(c)3 non-profit youth development organization that provides vital educational programs and enrichment services to all youth to inspire them to lead successful and fulfilling lives. We enhance the lives of youth, their families and the community through opportunity, development and resources.

History

For over 10 years, MARX Inc. Youth Services has successfully worked with community-based organizations to deliver youth development programs. After being formally established in 2008, MARX Inc. has been building capacity to better serve youth through programs, community outreach and providing resources and information to youth and families. 

Programming Foci

• Leadership - Developing leadership and life skills, providing evidence-based and interactive workshops to prepare for adulthood.

• Mentorship - Engaging and exposing teenagers to the world around them through networking, opportunities and positive relationships. 

• Scholarship - Supporting students with financial assistance and service learning.
